THE CIRCUS COMPANY CIRCONSTANCE WAS BORNED IN SALVADOR INDEPENDENTLY AND SPONTANEOUSLY.

THE INSPIRATION ARISES AMONG FRIENDS, WHO TOGETHER ARE WILLING TO INNOVATE THE CIRCUS LANGUAGE OF THEIR CITY OF RESIDENCE WITH A MORE CONTEMPORARY CIRCUS, INCORPORATED IN THE PROCESSES OF CREATION ABSTRACT ACROBATICS, DANCE AND THEATER.

THE CIA HAS THE PARTICULARITY OF HAVING MEMBERS FROM SEVERAL PART OF THE WORLD AND A REPERTOIRE OF SHOWS WHERE THE ARTISTS PRESENT ON THE SCENE VARY FROM ONE SHOW TO ANOTHER.

THE COMPANY IS CURRENTLY WORKING WITH THREE CREATIONS:

Alexis Ayala

Circus artist and dancer, of Chilean nationality, has lived in Salvador-Ba since 2019. She graduated as a Circus Artist and Circus Social Monitor at the professional circus arts school “El Circo del Mundo- Chile”, 2016; Agronomist, at the Universidad Iberoamericana de Ciencias y Tecnologías, 2013. He is currently a student at the technical dance school of the Fundación Cultural del Estado de Bahía. He has developed within the performing arts, mainly in contemporary languages of dance and circus, participating in various festivals, conventions and shows in Chile, Argentina and Brazil. As part of his training he has participated as a teacher of aerial circus techniques, group acrobatics and acrodanza. Producer of Encontro Dança e Circo, performing 3 versions in Santiago and Valparaíso, Chile and Salvador, Brazil, 2018. Since 2023, he has been manager and producer of the circus creation center Espaço Núcleo de Circo in Salvador. I am currently member and creator of the companies Encontro Dança e Circo and Cia. Circonstance, active on the Brazilian cultural-artistic scene with their shows "À Risca", "Por Acaso" and "Reptar".

Pauline Zoe

Circus artist, dancer, artistic director and cultural producer.

Pauline Zoé was born in Belgium, graduated in Spain and lives in Brazil. In winter, Pauline is a ceramicist; artistic director of the International Arts Festival of Calle de Bahía y de la Compagnie Cia Circonstance; Producer and coordinator of the ¨núcleo circus¨ space in Brazil and in summer Circus artist with his show ESFERA in numerous circus and street arts festivals in Europe.
